“It is not enough to think outside the box. We need to find a different box to frame our thinking. Educare is one of those different boxes.”
–  Dr. Douglas D. Christensen, Retired Commissioner of Education, Nebraska Department of Education

You can make a bold statement about how Louisiana defines the approach to learning from birth to five years right now. The most vulnerable children in New Orleans need your help and support to get the strong start to an education that they need. Your support of Educare New Orleans ensures that the first 2,000 days for the youngest and most vulnerable members of our community are put to good use.

Volunteer at Educare

Parents, grandparents, retirees, college students, young professionals, service organizations and other community members can help Educare New Orleans to support children during this critical learning period. When you volunteer your time by reading to children, playing with them and helping them to grow, your talents help to shape their learning environment.

Below is a form to help you begin the process of volunteering with Educare New Orleans. Please note that because we work with children, a background check may be necessary for our volunteers. After filling out the form below, our staff will contact you to finish the process.

Thank you for supporting Educare New Orleans!
